Bill Clinton Endorses Mayor Doherty

Former President Bill Clinton is supporting Mayor Doherty in the 22nd senate district primary!

The Clintons have always had a special connection to Scranton. Secretary of State Clinton's family hails from the area and both of them have made several trips to Northeast Pennsylvania on various campaigns over the years.

As the president says in his endorsement, Chis Doherty "helped to turn the city [of Scranton] around," and "he'll bring the same energy and dedication to all of Northeast Pennsylvania" as he works to bring good paying jobs into the district and to clean up Harrisburg.
